Green Building Training and Certification

 KSGBT trainers provide and support training courses, training packs and continued education (CE) events covering wide range of construction and built environment related topics. We are also used to organising in-house and online training for industry, schools and colleges.

 All training is delivered by experts –either delivered or appointed by KSGBT,based on their background and experience .Courses are based on the tried and tested approaches or can be adapted to develop more bespoke training.

 Our training is engaging, interactive, combining up-to –date experience with practical examples to create the ideal learning environment .For example, as part of ensuring a common standard across all companies and business sharing best practice, we recommend a KSGBT common platform accessible by all users, with the capability of viewing the latest pdf, documents, legislation, procedure, presention slides and video content on their phone or iPad or smart phone. The benefit of this system is that its acts as a central library for best practice and knowledge sharing.

Although the course is structured to be exam focused, more information, discussions & interactions will be delivered to help understand the subject matter.

  • Upon completion of this course, the candidate will be able to:
  • Identify the key components of the LEED® Rating System and the overall LEED® Certification process 
  • Describe key green building intents and concepts associated with LEED®
  • Describe the intents and concepts of each LEED® category
  • Explain successful LEED® strategies and measurements for achieving credit category goals

  • Recognize regulations, referenced standards related to each credit category

4. GSAS™ CGP Training and Project Management(3 day)

This course provides Essential Knowledge of the GSAS Rating Systems and Sustainable Building Concepts for those seeking a better understanding of GSAS or pursuing GORD's GSAS® CGP.

Upon completion of this course, the candidate will be able to:

  • Identify the key components of the GSAS Rating System and the overall GSAS Certification process
  • Describe key green building intents and concepts associated with GSAS
  • Describe the intents and concepts of each GSAS® category
  • Explain successful GSAS® strategies and measurements for achieving credit category goals

5.Advanced Energy LEED™ Modeling Training

The most challenging prerequisite in the LEED for New Construction certification process is the Energy and Atmosphere Prerequisite 2: Minimum Energy Performance. Energy Modeling uses computer-based software to simulate the energy usage of a facility (whether an existing building or one being designed), and compares it to a baseline building defined by ASHRAE. The building simulation includes the building location, local climate data, building orientation, and occupancy and operational schedules to reflect actual conditions as closely as possible.

Upon completion of this course, the candidate will be able to:

  • Fundamentals of Energy analysis HVAC Fundamentals

Krishnaji Pawar working as a Principle Sustainability Consultant for the Karishma Smart Green Building Technologies (P) Ltd and specializes in the development of specific sustainability and green building techniques for KSGBT clients. He manages a team of five project engineers, guiding KSGBT clients through the LEED Green Building Certification Process. Currently responsible for over 264 projects having a total developed area of over 50 million ft, he counsels project owners, developers, architects, designers, engineers, and contractors on sustainability implementation and green building principles.

The various software tools used are as follows, Visual DOE 4.1, ECOTECT, Radiance, and EQuest AutoCAD 2008 (Architecture), MS Office 2003, MS Visio 2003, MS Floor Plan, MS Excel and MS Power Point. With more than 10 Years of experience in Green Building Design and Energy Efficiency as a Energy Engineer & Principle Sustainbility consultant, Krishanji Pawar grew a keen interest towards encouraging and accelerating global adoption of green building and sustainable development practices. He has strong experience as a mentor of Green Building Concepts, LEED programs, Design Management and public awareness. Krishnaji is a pioneer in providing LEED training to various clients & organizations in India , Qatar & GCC.

He is a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP), who possesses a great passion to spread sustainability concepts, energy modeling, building commissioning services,green building design and integrated design process awareness by giving speeches to building professionals, owners, contractors, local authorities, etc. He carries the CCM Credentials and is certified as a GSAS CGP (Global Sustainability Assessment System – Certified Green Professional). Krishnaji is a Co-founder of Center for Research and Innovative Green building Technology, a member company of the IGBC (Indian Green Building Council), providing Adavnced Green Building Technology, Certification and Training Services to the public and private sectors.
